WHERE WE BEGAN

Batley Ladies Circle was formed on 3rd December 1950 starting with 14 members, with Mrs F M Taylor being appointed the first chairman of many. 2010 is our 60th charter which we are very excited about - join us now to be part of the celebrations!

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LADIES CIRCLES

Batley Ladies Circle is part of the National Association of Ladies Circles which itself has a 70 year history. A unique organisation for women aged 18-45, there are over 3,000 members in 39 areas spread across Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Whilst recognising the long history of the organisation, the aim is also to be progressive and forward-thinking. Click on the logo below to find out more.

We also have close links with Batley Round Table and recent joint events have included a Family Camping Weekend, Round Table Rally Weekend, Batley Beer Festival, Round Table Bonfire and the annual Ladies Circle Dinner Dance. Click on the logo below to find out more about Round Table.
